Te Hāhi Weteriana o Aotearoa/The Methodist Church of New Zealand is in its second year of a decade focusing on climate justice, entitled Rekindle the Vā of Papatūānuku. Each year, churches are encouraged to focus on the natural world during the month of September. This year our children’s activity for several Sundays involved the creation of a large collage, following the service themes of Ranginui/Sky Sunday, Maunga/Mountain Sunday and Kākāriki/Green Sunday. The collage will be on display at the upcoming 160th anniversary celebrations.
