NZ Fabian Society are sponsoring an evening on The state of the Parties six months from Election 2020 at WEA in Christchurch.

The 2020 election campaign will be a test for the minor parties – particularly those in the coalition Government that have been starved of the oxygen of media attention due to “working from inside the tent”. It will also be pitted as a Presidential slugfest between Jacinda Ardern in the red corner and Simon Bridges in the blue corner.

Jaunting down from the political capital for an evening of questions and more importantly answers will be prominent Wellington-based political columnist Gordon Campbell – former political editor for the Listener, and currently editor of the online political, music and arts review on scoop.co.nz entitled Werewolf.
