This month’s Spirited Conversation will be led by Professor Paul Spoonley, Distinguished Professor Emeritus and Honorary Research Associate at Massey University, and Senior Fellow at Koi Tu: Centre for Informed Futures.

He has led major research programmes on immigration, diversity and inter-group relations and been extensively involved in policy development and evaluation, both in New Zealand and internationally.  His talk will outline the major shifts in demography, both globally and in relation to New Zealand.

Professor Spoonley will be joining us via Zoom for this session, marking his second appearance in the Spirited Conversations series. In February 2023, he delivered a fascinating (and frightening) talk on entitled: The Rise and Rise of Disinformation: Challenges of the Internet Age.
