Durham Street member, Ben, is featured in this month’s national Methodist newspaper, “Touchstone“. And we understand it is the most read and most downloaded article in the edition!
Our most famous story-teller has just finished his latest story, “The Easter Penguin“. It’s about a misfit little blue penguin or kororā, named Curious, jealous of the starring role given to bunnies at Easter, and ostracised by her own rookery because her fur is a shocking orange rather than elegant blue. She ends up having to face her and the rookery’s nemesis, Evil Terror, the farmer’s pit bull. You’ll need to read Ben’s book to find out how the story ends. Full colour electronic and printed copies are available from Aldersgate or by emailing catherines@mmsi.org.nz, Ben is donating all proceeds to his church’s ministry of radical inclusion at Aldersgate and in the wider community.
