Our building may be closed. Church gatherings may be suspended, but we are still here for you. Just to prove it, when many others were doing their last minute panic shopping before the lock-down came into force, Philo and Jeff were doing their panic setting-up of a fun Easter window display – Easter eggs, bunnies, Christmas lights (yes, we know that’s a different church festival, but they are fun), and words of encouragement, including from different faiths. You can see the display in the big Aldersgate window facing Durham Street, if you happen to be going past (for other essential purposes). Hopefully it may help to cheer up those who do need to pass by.
